Launch Details:

Particulars: On June 29, the 32' yacht Muskrat was launched at Pendleton Yacht Yard in Islesboro. Custom built to the owner's vision, Muskrat is a Holland 32 lobsterboat hull, which marine architect Mark Fitzgerald describes as "one of the best Maine Lobsterboats ever built." In planning this version, Fitzgerald did interior architecture and deck layout, Holland Boat Shop built the hull and deck, and Union River Boat made additional fiberglass components. Canvas was made by Aurora Canvas of Camden. She is powered with a Mercruiser V-8, and uses an Evolution Drive in the power train. Pendleton Yacht Yard managed the project from the owner's initial inquiries onward, and completed the vessel with systems, woodwork, and finishes.
