Bruce Butler has 25 years of experience in the designing, detailing, and construction oversight of new homes, additions, and renovations. Previous projects include: lakeside, riverfront, island, and oceanfront property as well as rural and town sites. Mr. Butler has extensive experience in the permitting and zoning process especially as it relates to shoreland and resource protection districts. He works closely with his clients in developing designs that fit with the land and the context of other buildings.

Energy conservation and reduced reliance on fossil fuels will have an increasing impact on house design. The "Green" aspect of building materials is also important in striving for buildings that minimize their ecological footprint. Bruce enjoys working with clients who want to explore green building materials and options for heating and powering their homes with renewable energy sources.
