By incorporating new techniques and making other modifications to their designs, WBB has maximized the performance and comfort of each vessel. Custom building is a means of individualizing each boat to the specifications of the client, taking into account individual needs, preferences, location, and intended use of their West Bay S.H.O.W. (Summer Home On Water) boat.

West Bay Boats recently built a 37-foot mold of its new hull and deck design. Pictures will be posted on WBB’s web site following the launching of the first boat out of the mold (coming soon). Meanwhile, please visit the site to view construction pictures of the project in progress.

During the construction period, the team received training in ‘infusion’ and thus, in turn, applied this newest technique to the molding process. Having the knowledge and ability to infuse boats is a huge improvement over the former method of hand lay-up. The infusion process is precise and consistent, and results in high-quality parts, less waste, and fewer emissions for a cleaner atmosphere and a greener environment.
