Tips and Tricks on how to market your presence at the Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors Show. The MBH&H team does their best to market and advertise year-round. We work with radio, web, tv and printed advertising.
Now that you are an exhibitor at the 2008 Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show, it's time to start telling the world that you will be there! Here are some tips and tricks to help you tell your current and potential clients where to find you at the show.
Ideas for Exhibitors
• Send invitations to customers and include a Free Guest Pass/VIP Ticket. You can find the Guess Pass Request form under "Forms and Downloads.” The guest passes are important promotional tools, spread good will, and offer your best customers and prospects free admission to the show. You will be billed after the show, at the rate of $5 per ticket (a 50% discount of the regular one-day ticket price), and ONLY for those tickets that are actually redeemed.
• Print show reminders in your monthly newsletters & publications and put it on your website’s calendar of events
• Include a blurb about the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show and your booth placement on invoices.
• Place the MBH&H Show logo and a link to www.maineboats.com [1] on your website.

• Include a tag-line in your regular radio and television advertising
• Add the show dates to regular print advertising
• Join MBH&H's Coastal Directory. The listing includes: a full web page dedicated to your business, contact information (e-mail, website), up to 6 images of your work, 50-word business description, an extended business description and logo. The cost is just $24/per month and is based on a one-year contract.
• Purchase a banner ad on the MBH&H website, www.maineboats.com [2]
• Purchase a display ad in the Boat Show Issue of Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors magazine and within the Show Program.
• Send out a press release announcing a new product or service you are launching at the show.
• Use an email signature with show dates and a link to www.maineboats.com [3].
