“My process varies slightly depending on the task at hand. I’ve always particularly enjoyed capturing natural landscapes—venturing out and exploring areas on foot and looking around at what catches my eye. It’s exciting to challenge myself to see familiar places in a new light, and many times from a new perspective. I often find myself framing subjects within the environment or utilizing something natural as foreground elements to add depth to the image. The use of a drone for aerial photography has given me opportunities to change my perspective on the fly and create some incredible compositions you would only see while living life as a bird. I feel fortunate to have grown up along the coast of Maine; it has shaped me into the artist I am today.”
